soon it will be Xiaomi
No way. I remember reading somewhere that majority of Indians mobile budget is less than 6000 INR. Unless Xiaomi caters to this audience, there is no chance it can become #1. And still, Micromax is Indian and reputed company for many Indians while Xiaomi is just a those 'chinese wala' phone brand. Top lel :P

Nope
Xiaomi will introduce mid range phones I just forgot the model no its something like Redmi
So that will definitely give tough competition to micromax
Also Mi3 have already created hype in India which micromax cant do in 3-4years

^Xiaomi have different business model. They rely on word of mouth and FK's flash sale publicity. They don't have budget like Micromax. And Micromax is great when it comes to marketing. Even in villages Micromax (and of Karbonn) handsets are being sold, where Nokia/Moto hardly have a reach.

LOL, failed publicity.
Sales are failing, people are getting angry, not publicity :p (that's what I meant)

Flipkart is doing amazing job marketing Xiaomi

I think the catch word is cellphones and not smartphones. Correct me if I'm wrong here.
Yup, OP includes all kind of phones

In India, cheap sells. They won only because of that.

By the way, how good they are handling warranties these days ? I was pleasantly surprised by their service last week when I went to repair my Canvas A88.
