With the aim of extending Third Generation mobile services to the masses, Micromax and MTNL on Wednesday launched 3G-enabled Micromax H360, with a competitive price tag of Rs. 5499.
The detailed features of the new Micromax H360 3G mobile phone are:

Although a good initiative, until and unless they reduce their ridiculously priced 3G access charges, 3G won't pick up among common masses.
 
In the advent that companies like Airtel are charging 10-25 Rupees (varies as per circle) per day for UL GPRS/EDGE, these 3G plans would be a joke whenever they come out.
