Microsoft Band - Did MS just beat everyone late into the game?

Hi all.

Another Smart band.

But this one looks more practical and affordable. And it also doesn't make you replace your existing watches. For me this is a Win. and It has every type of sensor for a fitness freak.

For me, It looks miles ahead of what even Apple is going to offer. Again, I love my watches. No smart watch can take its place.

199 USD. And Its already released in US. I am in 2 minds whether to get in car and get one now or not.

This one surely has changed things. Till now Garmin Vivofit looked fine, but this one seems a better gadget.
I seriously hope it gets a price cut.

Hmm.. Well. This one has a built in heart rate detector. You will get the cheap bands.. then you need to buy something that detect the heart rate for extra.

I still don't find them anywhere near VFM but at least the product is good.

Let's wait for the reviews, it's a first generation product by Microsoft. I hope the battery life for average user is more than one day

Considering it also has in-built GPS, this one is not expensive at all. Compare other fitness bands with similar features and you'll get the big picture.

this will be a boon to me, for my daily cycling

will be able to keep better track record of it

Also will it be possible, that we keep following bands installed in our cars / bikes, and later on track their movements when we get bands in our hands
