Product Name: Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Retail (Key) US- English

Expected Price: Rs 16,000/- negotiable - part payment 50% before transfer of key, full payment can be made after confirmation of key working. (Retail Price is Rs. 23,700, so it's a full discount of Rs. 7700 btw)

Time of Purchase: June 2010

Reason for Sale: Won MS Office 2010 (2 other copies lol) again via a competition, so I no longer need to redeem this key. The key is OBVIOUSLY UNUSED.

Purchase Invoice Available: No, but confirmation mail screenshot has been provided below. This key can also be verified easily using Microsoft's "VAMT 2.0" software downloadable on MS' website. I have done so and verified that this is an Office 2010 Professional Retail Key.

Product Condition: New, unused key

Product Location: Chennai, India.

Preferred Courier: Key will be emailed/PMed to buyer with instructions to redeem the key and download the digital copy from Microsoft's website once payment has been done.

Payment Options: Online Bank transfer to Punjab National Bank account.

Please note and remember to take screenshots of each of the pages you go through on the Microsoft website while you undergo the redemption process. If any problem occurs during redemption of the key, please send ALL the previous screenshots with the screenshot of the page showing the error too in order to claim back the part payment. In case of any dispute, I will put up all the screenshots here.

As I said before there will be no issues, I have verified the key with Microsoft's own servers using VAMT 2.0. They key is unused, unactivated. As you can see in my screenshots I am still using only the Beta version and not this key.

If you got this key thru Office Genuine Advantage Kit then you cannot sell the key or kit.

The Office Genuine Advantage Kit contains a CD with a new 25-character product key. Microsoft recommends that you uninstall all Microsoft Office products that failed validation prior to installing the Office Genuine Advantage Kit.

The Office Genuine Advantage Kit is packaged differently and is only distributed by Microsoft directly to customers who have purchased counterfeit Office and failed Office validation. It is not intended for resale.

I am allowed to resell it. It's not via the Office genuine advantage kit, 6pack. There is no cause for alarm.

If you're interested, it was won via the Win 2010 promotion that the Microsoft Office Team finished conducting recently on Facebook and Twitter. The TOS states no ban on resale. Only that it will not be replaced if stolen.

The license conditions are the same as the Key Card version and that is explicitly stated in the first screenshot.

I'm not trying to scam anyone, so I've put up every bit of info that I have.

It is considering that I got it via this contest that I am selling it at much lower than the actual price it retails at - a significant discount. Like I said, it's still negotiable.

And if you want my seller credentials, I've not sold on this forum before, only on another well known indian gaming forum. I can provide that link if you want and verify that ID.
 
^ eBay allows sale of anything that is legal and not pirated.

But OP would have to shell out a hefty fee for the sale if it goes through, however considering it is a ZERO investment purchase, he would still be in great profit :)
 
I agree it's zero investment and absolutely NOT pirated software, but I'm a bit apprehensive about eBay's policy toward certain items. Seeing how they sometimes ban sellers for no reason and hold up the amounts stuck in their paypal system. Don't they require a physical item to be shipped?
 
I highly doubt there is anyone who would want to buy MS Office at 16K! Maybe you can sell it to a commercial establishment like an actual office or maybe a private bank?

I have no idea about how to go about selling to an establishment.

You do know that anyone can download this software for free from "other sources".

3 copies. 1 was bought for your info. If I had known I would get this via a contest I would not have bought the other one at a loss of several thousand bucks. I'm a student mind you who uses a lot of the apps in Office because it helps me with my intern and paper presentation work. I use whatever I save to buy this stuff. And that's generally prize money from generally academic contests I take part in or things like this that I sell.

So please keep your not-so-constructive thoughts to yourself. Thank you very much.

You should stick to trying to sell your stuff instead of trying to take a moral high-ground on this thread. Especially when you are trying to sell stuff you got for free, when there's a dozen other "constructive" things you could do with it.

I didnt want to post this here but looks like I will have to.
The PM was not complain about you :P
I have seen other members openly sell OEM Antivirus keys, win 7 OEM keys and lets not forget the windows 7 Student keys which was sold at 800-1000 Rs per key and what not.
AFAIK, resale of OEM keys is not allowed but I remember several members creating a GO for the same.
Even reselling student keys is against Microsoft's EULA.

Now people dont start flaming me :P
