ehh? :S did you mean microtek?

Dint know M$ also made UPSs...

How old is it? My 4 year old powersafe started behaving similarly till i changed the battery.

you surely mean microTEK.

and you UPS battery is prolly on its last legs(judging by your config and assuming that you got the ups when you got that system).

the only way out for you is to get the battery replaced

WTH..Microsoft Heritage?? ..seriously is that exactly what the label says?

And the backup time is "ridiculous" because of all the high end hardware of yours.

Alrite..enough:P ..on a serious note, just get the UPS's battery replaced if its more than 1 year old.

lol my APC 750 VS smart used to give me 30 seconds back up  I had to rma it 3 times to get a good unit back :@ loosers at APC:@

Open the UPS, plug the battery out

Go to a local store and get a replacement battery

Plug the battery in and you are set
