Microwave Oven or with convection or OTG? Really confused

I got the oven delivered by Amazon and while I don't believe in superstitions but what I said during the purchase turned out to be true. Oven was delivered with one side coming out of the seam. So had to return it and made me hesitant on getting Bajaj again. After much deliberation went for a convection microwave instead. One of things I was wary of the size of the turntable and eventually finding most items don't fit. Went for the next lowest configuration of 23 liters instead of the lowest 20. Got this one after much deliberation between brands:

The only other option was IFB and I have been wary of them a lot.

I received it today and got going with some smaller recipes. Though one thing I was wondering is this - the box says Convection/Grill Microwave Oven. So I opened it and there is no heating rod on top. This a feature I have seen only in solo and grill microwaves. Example this one which I checked out at a local Reliance store:

The convection ones I found in all other companies IFB/Videocon/Whirlpool had grill on top. Is that expected? Here the manual of other companies I found:

Panasonic site sucks. Not even one manual to download on that useless website. Waste of web space and bandwidth.

Maybe it uses a hearing element in the fan. But can't say since there's no manual. Shitty company can't even give out proper info. Indian company with Japanese brand in name only.

Yep. Actually I looked at the physical manual provided and it doesn't mark any grill element at all.

Here's from Morphy Richards:

From Samsung:

Couldn't find anything on LG as the manual skimps on the parts diagram.

Until now, I have owned a BPL 40 ltr (yes there used to be one), a Godrej 32 ltr and now a Samsung 28 ltr. All were microwave/convection/grill combos and they all had a visible grill heating element inside.

Sorry guys false alarm. My microwave is set a bit low which meant even if I turned on the grill the element was hidden from view. It is not exposed/visible like other brands. It is behind a steel mesh and doesn't become visible until the element is turned on for over a minute and is hot. And the stupid manual dint help either.

The only problem I see is this might cause grilling to be a bit slow.

Yes it takes time (order of minutes) for the grill element to become red hot. That is true with all electric ovens, even OTGs.
