Well I know amongst the BARGE of heavy duty games that have come and are about to come, you wouldn't be tempted to try out a light harted game like this one. But i suggest you do. Try to play the DEMO.

I have just started with it but it has a real nice feel to it. You start off with this cute little ninja and then you meet more cute little ninjas within which you can transform as per your need and enemy type.

Also to disguise you can transform or inherit cutee little farm animals like this chicken :

The graphics aint that great, nor are they BAD. .just rite for the kind of game. Reminds me of Kungfu Panda of you ask me :P.

I was actually waiting for someone to post a thread on this game because my review of this game isn't all that positive. Don't get me wrong I like possessing a frog, going behind an enemy and leaping out to kill him.

This game reminds me of I-Ninja and I couldn't help but compare the 2. This game has a few elements of POP thrown in. I guess most platformers these days have it. The characters are cute in this game but not as memorable as I-Ninja (he was cute and small but angry... VERY ANGRY).

The game has a few activities like making potions for which collecting flowers, mushrooms etc. is necessary. Possessing an animal helps in this case. You can learn new recipe for potions as well.

You can use your hat as a boat. You can switch characters. Initially there are only 2 characters. The brute one is useless IMHO. As you progress you can meet up wih more friends that disappeared at the start of the game.

The combat is ok nothing like DMC series so don't expect chain combos. The special move of the main character is great where you aim at a bunch of enemies and let the character go do it's dirty work.

Compare this to I-Ninja and I find I-Ninja to be a better game because it had a bunch of mini games, game was inspired (successfully ripped gameplay from) POP, Spiderman, Onimusha style fighting, Sonic, Fight Night, Monkeyball etc. Not to mention this game was hilarious.

Mini-Ninjas is a good game but can't beat I-ninja. I mean seriously this guys kills his own Sensei in rage right at the start of the game. Hard to believe he had gone to rescue his Sensei.

My rating for Mini-Ninjas 6.5/10

Plays the FLUTE, everyone around her start to dance like the DUMASSes they are.

^ Could be Havn't played I-Ninja. Again it is light hearted game nothing Hardcore, so a comparison with DMC would not be fair.
 
I have been looking forwards to this game but was (still am) skeptical about it.

Please put up a review, and maybe I'll pick it up. :)

^^ No need to be skeptical about this game. It is a good platformer.

@!OTA agreed the fighting style is good enough for the dummies that attack in this game. No point in comparing it to DMC.

Will pressing 'X' when possessing a rabbit cause the rabbit to attack in the way of the Ninja. Off to find out the answer.
 
It is one of the cutest game out there!! All are cute small ninjas with variety of weapons, basically made for 10-14 year kids but if you are bored of normal FPS, TPS ,hack n slash & survivor horror games, this is complete entertainment for you, whats more its just 499/- for PC.
 
Oh and i forgot to mention ! Play it with an XBOX controller and you will really be @ EASE.

KeyB + Mouse = Fail !
