Upgrading
mini pc/proxmox host from CWWK. It has Intel N305 which is almost double the performance from N100, has 6x i226-v NICs. I was using this with proxmox with opnsense, openmediavault, plex (does AV1 transcoding), wireguard. with space to add even more vm's. This comes with 8gb ram and no SSD. It has 2 NVME connections, 1 sata, will include the sata power/data cable. Bios updated to latest one. manufacturers website. Connected a 7010 mm fan to keep the ssd's cool.

A question related to the device but not to its sale. I see you have 3 LAN ports labeled to what I am assuming corresponding ISPs. Were you using all 3 or just 2 together and if so then how?

I'm currently using all 3 (Jio-500mbps, ACT-300mbps, Hathway-100mbps) All three in load balance so I get around 1.1gbps to 1.2gbps download speed. And this also provides the fail over when one of the line goes offline. You don't need the above if you want to load balance, you can achieve the same with normal load balancing routers or even normal routers with openwrt!

Bit off topic but as far as I know such combining of speed is only possible for certain scenarios like torrents or download manager with segmented download etc right? I am talking about getting combined speed for a specific download task (like starting a torrent in utorrent or a file in a download manager).

Fast.com and other newer speed tests are multhreaded, they will use more than one download stream, so they're an accurate way of testing load balancing.

Everyday browsing whether on mobile or desktop also makes multiple requests for a single page/update, each of which would go throw a different connection, so you'd see the benefit of multiple connections basically everywhere except regular http/https downloads and streaming. But if you have multiple users downloading/streaming then it'll be noticeable.

I have several 100mbps connections, they're all set up for load balancing and it ends up cheaper/faster than a single higher-speed connection.
