Yup as Sorcy says tab concepts in [ E] market is very good.

I wasn't refering to that forum as I was not aware of it . Its something which I thought about it as soon as eddy asked for suggestions :).

He wasnt suggesting that you are refering to that forum IINM, Here:

Yup as Sorcy says, tab concepts in [ E] market is very good. But i guess there is very little chance that TE market will be shaped based on that. I had posted this long time back in the market feedback.

There currently are many threads in the market section which were created after 16th Nov which arent in there subforums and are very much active, what really is the criteria for deletion?

Here, If not fully but partially contain products that have subforums for them. This tactic of including an item which doesn't belong to any sub-forum in a thread so that it doesnt get trashed should also not be accepted.

None of the threads you've pointed out fit into any sub-forum fully as you yourself have pointed out, hence they are left in the main section.

And I really dont think people are throwing in high value items like laptops, LCDs, graphics cards, power supplies, etc just to avoid their thread being trashed.

Edit:

Since your comments are bordering on desperation, may I ask : Was your market thread deleted?

Sad that you say so but no, none of my threads have ever been deleted/moved irrespective of in which section they were created :P

BTW If I may express my opinion, if a person has multiple things to sell then he should take precaution to see that he puts all of them in the right sub-forums and if needed, separately. (If the sub-forum system is to work)

All these threads have been started in the last two days in the main section of the forum. All of them have a proper sub-section though. Have reported all of these. lets see whether they are trashed as the warning says or moved

There are numerous threads created in the main market section despite a proper sub-section being available for it :( This just adds to the mods workload. Its better to close the main section soon and start suitable sub-sections.

No one cares to check the announcements :@ Like in few other forums whenever an important announcement is added cant the user be redirected to that page first and then only in the forum? This will make sure everyone sees the announcements.

One more http://www.techenclave.com/members-market/ps2-for-sale-180779.html#post1676048 --> should be in games and console section

Members ought to create multiple threads when they have multiple things to sell and not all of them can be in a single sub-forum. We cant have combination sub-forums, so For eg. If someone has an Audio product and motherboard for sale, the member ought to create two threads - One in the Audio/Video section and one in the CPU/Mobo/RAM section.

Some More:

http://www.techenclave.com/members-market/brand-new-ipad-3g-wifi-64gb-180737.html - Should be in Mobiles and Gadgets Section

http://www.techenclave.com/members-market/xbox-splinter-cell-conviction-180661.html - Should be in Games and Consoles Section

http://www.techenclave.com/members-market/amd-sli-mobo-for-phenom-ii-180851.html - Should be in CPU, Mobo and RAM section

Another thread that wasn't deleted but just moved to the right sub-forum:

http://www.techenclave.com/phones-and-gadgets/htc-desire-3-months-old-9-a-180263.html

So, I ask again - What exactly is the criteria for deletion and what is the criteria for the thread to be moved to the appropriate sub-forum?

Threads deleted.

As for the few threads in between that were moved - the criteria was luck.

They were lucky as another mod had spotted it and tried to help them by moving it :P

Highly inconvenient. Twice my thread has been deleted in the last two days. Really , just inform the member whats the god damn problem, or lock the thread , or move. Trashing it all together is just discouraging people to post again and again.

^^ It is all the more inconvenient that people do not care to read the announcements and follow them. There have been quite a few members who realized their mistakes after their thread was deleted, and made the efforts to create them again in the appropriate sub section. I'd suggest you to try that.

Why would someone make a thread twice in the same spot is beyond me, did you not notice this thread or the announcement in the market section after your FS thread was deleted the first time?

There is a announcement in the market section just above the new thread tab. If u cant spare couple of minutes to read it then the mods cant do anything about it.
