Mitticool: A refrigerator that runs without electricity

Hello Friends,

I purposely post this thread in to "Consumer Electronics" as if some one looking for Economical & Environment Friendly Solution for water filter, refrigerator, Pressure Cooker etc. can look at & go through.

seems more like a storage bin made of clay. nowhere its mentioned it cools the items stored in it and by how much it cools. it cant make ice too. so its just a storage bin for water and vegetables. it will work in hot Gujarat climate but in humid climate like mumbai it will spoil all the vegetables due to excess humidity from the water inside the clay compartment.

Thats exactly what I noticed.... The mitticool refrigerator seems more like a clay pot than some cooling device.
 
On link to Code No: MCR01 - Refrigerator some pictures open where one can see vegetables are being stored.

I have heard vegetables stay fresh for 7 to 8 Days which is a very good achievement without electricity using just water .

For us who are blessed with Electricity and perfect cooling with refrigerator it doesnt seem much but in rural areas where storing is a huge problem in absence of electricity and cost this is simply a must necessity.
