I flashed CM11 yesterday. Battery life is poor. Phone got heated up while I was playing 8 ball pool. I wonder what will happen if I try to run heavy games.[DOUBLEPOST=1423507635][/DOUBLEPOST]Going to try this. Looks promising.

I have stopped hoping for any update from Xiaomi. This would have been acceptable if we were on KK & waiting for L. But we're on JB & waiting for KK in 2015!
Fortunately there aren't any features that I am missing from newer versions of Android.
 
I have Note 3G and their current beta release has few bugs left which is just a matter of time before they are fixed. Once fixed it will be up for final testing and then release. I am expecting this to be early April even though Xiaomi has committed end of March.

remember lollipop has memory leak issues that kitkat does not overall the user experience on lollopop is not good due to these on budget devices running lollopop having 1gb ram like redmi 1s. In Lollipop memory is not released even after application has been exited and you will see force close or at times application crash issues due to this. Just because of this Google had released an update 5.0.2 which did not fix it. Google has just now been able to fix memory issues which will be pushed in the latest version for which no timeline has been provided.
