cool_dude said:Do I support his cause - Yes. The influx of migrants in Maharashtra is creating many problems and should stop.
Lets just for a moment consider that the idea is right and migration of the people should be stopped. So now why would you be so upset by the idea of the Joke posted by renegade as you stated
cool_dude said:Well, this post is not even moderately funny. In fact, it is the stupidest post I have ever read on this forum. And the irritating part is, it is insulting to all Marathis.
Though its a joke, it in fact seriously gives you the implications of such an idea. What if every state in India adopt the same kind of attitude. Do you know the number of Marathi people living in other states like Andhra, Karnataka and the northern states like UP, Delhi and Punjab? What if the locals of these states drive out the Marathi people? heck, What if the other states stop supplying goods to Maharashtra.
What if all the non-marathi people who are responsible for the provision of so many jobs in Maharashtra pull out of the state. What if all the schools, colleges outside Maharashtra stop accepting marathi students to give better opportunities to the locals? What if you take it to the next level and the countries stop allowing migration of people.
Don't try to get around the questions by dividing the people on the basis of how rich or poor they are and say that the non-marathi people who are investing and providing employment or some form of revenue should stay and the poor should be driven out of the state. A decision like this affects all the people. Rest assured if lower working class people are driven out or killed (as is the current state), rest assured the people who are providing opportunities would also be forced to pull out in the long run.
People are supposed to work together for common good. If there is an influx of poor working class people in the state, there is also an even greater influx of non-marathi people creating opportunities for both marathi and non-marathi people. You do not want the poor lower working classes to enter your state, but the same outsiders are welcome if they are rich and going to create opportunities or bring laurels to the state. Is that it.
People cannot live in such a divided manner. Irrespective of what caste/race/religion/country people need to collaborate and share to live. Once you have a division somewhere, it creeps across the length and breadth of the system. Just imagine what would happen if every one stops collaborating.
cool_dude said:Do I support Mr. Raj Thakre and his method? - NO.
Regardless of the methods, this traitor and terrorist uses, the whole idea of stopping migration is in itself absurd. As I said, when you are trying to stop migration of people, be it the working classes you are trying to stop collaboration and sharing among people, If every one else adopts the same attitude, mankind will simply crumble.
Raj Thakarey does not care what happens to the people, neither about the Marathi's nor the others. He has his own selfish motives for creating chao's in the state. So the question of the propriety of his methods does not arise at all.
