Mobile operator for Mumbai/Maharashtra circle with good & reasonably priced 3G ?

May be your still a lucky lot, Vodafone service in Pune is purely Sh!7@$$... They never resolve any issues in a timely or properly.
I was a consumer of their N/W with 3G enabled, I can for sure tell you at various locations within the city itself, N/w sucks big time; hardly do their 3G really shows up, and don't even ask for the number of dropped calls and congestion in their network.
For everything one standard answer "Sir we are facing a network congestion OR our systems are down so we cannot see what is happening in the background"; whatever the real reason is!

My usage in Pune is between Aundh and Hinjewadi Phase 2. 3G network in Hinjewadi is not really great and very bad in cubicles.
But in Aundh i usually have minimum 4 bars on 3G at home. Outside is always full.
I do tweet them the issues and they usually call me on my phone to discuss the same.
As of now only i am facing spotty EDGE is my cubicle area which was not the case before. Hope it is resolved soon.
Anyways i use 3G mode on my phone only when needed and by default i stay on EDGE only entire days. Helps with the battery life.

its not existent in indoor also that too in area's like sadashiv peth and all.
indoor network is poor of lot and to top on all that,
network roll out is worst than even tata docomo,
in my native place,
Idea is present since 2 yrs almost while vodafone is conspicuously absent , and no ETA known to their customer care.
and I agree about call center,its fed with standard answers.
its like Jyotishi ka tota ,ask anything,you will get same answer.
