Mobile Operators charging for customer service calls!!!

Re: Airtel Started charging for 121 calls

Now we have to pay to AIRTEL for talking to their stupid ROBOTS who doesn't know shit about anything let alone the problem in hand...:rofl:

Re: Airtel Started charging for 121 calls

So first they make you wait for 10 minutes till someone comes on call and then they also charge you for it!

Re: Airtel Started charging for 121 calls

Loop mobile has also changed their customer care no. from 50555 to 800 and now they are charging 50p/3mins

When I used to work for 3 Global services Australia, they used to charge customers 15c for the ENTIRE call. So if a cc representative takes 1 hour to resolve a query, the customer will still pay only 15c.

I mean why should we pay more if the customer representative takes time ?

IMO, they should have two nos. One for complaints/service activations and one for queries. The complaints helpline would be free and the queries would be charged.

They do have 2 numbers atleast Airtel does, One for complaints (Toll free) and one for schemes and other information.

Anyways its decent. It will keep away those people who call up just for fun and it might even improve the quality of support.

Dipshit service providers like Idea have a horrendously broken website, especially for Karnataka users. They dont leave me with any choice other than to call CC to know abt the schemes and recharge offers. I hate paying for the garbage they dish out.

Well in delhi and ncr. Old postpaid customer still not need to pay talking to customer care because when i asked cc they said you will not be charged because you are privilege customer

In my college days we used to call the CC and if there was girl on the other end, we used to have a lot of fun asking all kindda stupid questions.. :eek:hyeah:

Alas.. The newer generation would not be able to cherish that fun anymore... :bleh:

maybe this is why it happened because of people like you, now the people who are really in need have to suffer

^ Lol, every college student had / has and will have this mentality :p

But the rates are reasonable for me, 50p/3min is not a bad either only if there's satisfactory response from CC guys

Idea has withdrawn the charges for now!! A rep called to tell me that there will be no charges till the next month. I hope it stays that way. Apparently theres been a huge backlash. Im happy that writing to the nodal officer has had some effect. Not sure if other operators have withdrawn the charges.

I just know to be a platinum customer your bill should be always more than 1500 a month and you should be on the network for minimum 2 years. for gold minimum 1 yr on network but no idea abt bill amount. Airtel review this every 3 months. so you avg montly should be 1500+. no fancy mobile number matters as thats just one time payment thing

It is good, we have a bunch of idiots wasting theirs and others time. Now they will only call when they need real help not cheap thrills and soft porn rofl!

I am from Airtel chennai. I have been active airtel user for 5 years now. The same sim has been used for almost 5 years now. I spend like 500 rs every month. what am I? regular, gold or platinum user??
