Mobile Phone Courier charges around 2300 ? Is this true ?

I sent a mobile within state at 25 Rs and it reached without any problem.

I have used Aramex,Bluedart and TNT in past for sending cellphones,

No problem with any of the couriers.

recntly when i asked Aramex they told that now they don`t deliver cellphones if you are not their registered members.

Use Tnt it charges only 150 Bucks .

use dtdc plus , they wud charge u only 250 bucks for the weight of the phone with packing and next day delivery in metros , very safe

and no need to tell them its a phone or anything ,

Plz be aware that phones are not being accepted by couriers unless u know them personally.
Just pack it well and send it via bluedart(declare as DVD rom or some comp peripheral, I had an harrowing time sening a mobile). Even blue dart dosent accept phones near my place.

Dont go for cheap couriers-especially if the package in question is worth a lot. there is NOTHING one can do if package id lost /opened.......

Use any reputed courier but don't declare as mobile - will cost you 150-200 bucks.

I've good experience with speedpost(yeah packed very well and declared as some electronics part)
