While recharging on paytm, I had a strange experience. They charged me twice for 1k recharge. I called them and they were unrelenting. It was only after filing chargeback with my bank, they accepted their mistake. My bank dint really help me out with the chargeback so now I am stuck with my money with them .

So now they have provided me with coupons to their system "to make up for their mistake". 1k worth of discounts only usable if I get to recharge a huge variety of recharges.

All the coupons are locked to my account :( So if anyone requires help with their recharges, I can help them out.

Coupon details:

5% off of 100 rechage X 15

7.5% off 500 recharge x 10

10% off 1000 recharge X 5
 
They are the worst online recharge services, once I got 50 coupon from zapakgames and recharged for 60 for tatadocomo(paid 10 from CC), recharge not happened, when I checked, there is no recharge in their website for 60 and my money is gone, never ever think of recharging through paytm.
 
I have received two recharges with a single payment. Their site said recharge failed and credited the amount back to my Paytm account but recharge was actually successful. Happened 2-3 times. Guess I was lucky! :-P

This site is very unreliable.

Have lostapprox 150 rs. on this site, they never refunded back the amt.

Currently I am using rechargeitnow. At present, the most reliable one.

freecharge.in rocks!! They are very reliable...i did denominations which didnt exist by mistake...they refunded my amount in 48 hours!
 
guys can somebody help with freecharge.in problems.i have submitted a complaint but got no reply.i recharged with rs 500 through credit card.the payment gateway froze up but i got a message that money had been deducted from my account.next morning i receive a message from tata docomo that i have recharged with a 3g pack i.e. 500 mb+1000 min valid for a month.i have a 2g sim. tata docomo customer care says that it is my fault and to use their website only for online recharge. freecharge.in has not replied to my complaint ant they do not have any phone no. listed on their site.

I feel true test for any online commercial company is how they handle problems when they arise.reliability is judged by how they handle problems.as of now my experience with both freecharge and tatadocomo is poor.they have robbed me of my money due to faulty online services.

Anybody has any customer care no. for freecharge.in?

Why did you not check the TT on the amount before doing the recharge? A good example of this is that on Docomo if you do the 48/65/95/149 recharge, you will get 1GB/2.5GB/4GB/8GB 2G GPRS packs. Always as far as possible, recharge in multiples of 111 as i have seen most of these are full TT recharges and irrespective of from where you do it, you will get TT.

Rs 500 for 1000 min + 500 MB is the correct amount only
 
@vivek- yes it is. This thread is not in the mobile section where I am asking for Customer care info for paytm etc. I wanted to see if anyone is interested [IC] in the coupons I have.

I guess better option to close the thread to avoid more trolls like drsingh.

@mods- please close the thread.
 
I think you guys have got the wrong impression! I apologise if somebody thinks i have jacked the thread,but this is the only thread i found where people were giving some kind of feedback regarding online recharges.just wanted some help!

500 rs for 3g recharge.500mb + 1000 min.
but i have 2g connection.never used 3g in my life.
i checked on the tata website before recharge.
i used freecharge.in as i wanted coupons worth 500 rs.
I got no choice about different types of rs 500 recharges.
in effect my 500 bucks went down the drain!

IN what way is it trolling?I would encourage feedback about problems and customer service like any other online store.
OR do you think it is my fault just because you have not had a problem as yet.

If you guys are offended by this then i will start another thread about my problem.

# Convert your sim to 3G
# Get a taste of 3G (500mb)
# Convert back your sim from 3G to 2G, if you think otherwise
# Use the 1000 minute

I don't think this is freecharge mistake, you should confirm with your mobile operator, if 500 is a valid amount. Sometimes these are valid for certain packs and offers. Its pretty useless crying over that, just use what you have got.

@drsingh - What part of this thread not being a feedback thread is confusing to you? DO you see the thread in Mobile phone/feedback sub-forums. As your insistence on replying to thread and being lazy ass enough to not open your thread. I am editing the first post.
 
@drsingh: It's ok to get confused or expect a better reply in another's thread. but i suggest you open a seperate thread for yourself with your specific query since it is not related to this thread.

But if I have to say one thing then it is that: It's your fault. I don't like blaming you, that's the truth. freecharge did a 500 worth of recharge. Their job is done. Docomo gave you the what the 500 entails you to, those minutes and MBs of 3G. You should have checked with the tariffs before doing that. You can call up Docomo and ask them if it can be converted to normal recharge, if not then use 3G for a while. After all you paid for it.

@shark: Just ignore the post and if the Mods are ok with your thread then continue with your coupon offer. Why so upset with 2 offtopic posts? Bury the matter before this turns into was singh right or wrong in posting in this thread. You can request the Mods to clean up this thread if you want If you are really good friends with them :D.
