The Nokia Asha 300 is a touch and type single SIM phone running on Series 40 OS. This handset comes with an alphanumeric keypad which really does not help speed up texting. The price factor and some of others features like the 5 MP camera blends well, to a certain extent. Asha 300 weighs 86 grams with a 12.7 mm thickness.

Display, input and OS: This Single SIM GSM phone comes with a 2.4 inch LCD resistive touchscreen supporting 240 by 320 pixels with 262 K colours. Resistive touchscreen are not as responsive as the capacitive touchscreen. I think the touch and type feature is a waste as alphanumeric keypad is not that speedy.

For navigational purpose touch is a good option but in totality it is useless feature. The OS used is the Symbian Series 40 OS.
