Budget 15-20K Mobile which can also be used in USA

I am about to buy a new phone, will probably boy it in 2nd week of oct. Since I am going to USA in within a year, so it will be primary requirement that data networks should work there too. Only android phones. Screen size doesnt matter a lot.

My shortlist is
1. Moto X 2nd gen
2. Moto X play
3. Moto G 3rd gen ( in this I will be saving money which is worth to me)

Can anyone help me about these phones, all these are motorola, will avoid sony since my previously owned Xperia M stopped getting charged. I want to know phones which support 2G/3G/4G bands which iwill work both on India and USA. Any kind of help is appreciated.

Why not wait for time till you reach USA and purchase a phone from there ? In mean time can get hands on used Moto E for 3-3.5k.
Well actually that is a very good idea, I did give a thought about it, but I will be getting this phone from my elder brother who will be given 10k for mobile phone from his company, and he currently owns a galaxy A7, so he wont be purchasing new phone and a used one is out of cards (since you have to show bill to get reimburse). And so min budget will be 10k. I think I will end up purchasing Moto G 3rd gen, I will have to invest only 3k as 10k will be provided by my brother's company. Any other options will be appreciated but as you said, I gave it a thought this morning, so I will most probably end up with moto G 3rd gen. And very thanks for the reply.

Moto G 3rd gen is better from the mentioned lot. Do note following though. Model sold in India is XT1550; which supports following frequencies

FDD-LTE 2600(B7)/2100(B1)/1800(B3)/900(B8)/700(B28)
TD-LTE 2300(B40)
3G 2100(I)/900(VIII)/850(V)
GSM 1900/1800/900/850

Do crosscheck if your intended service provider in USA, have services on these frequencies.

Thanks a lot for these frequencies, I will compare these frequencies with USA's service providers.

Moto G hands down, killer phone with rock solid daily performance, timely os update and much improved camera.

To all guys, thanks for reply, now the problem here is that I will be getting 10k from my brother's company and currently I own a Xperia m which doesnt charge, I use external battery charger and have purchased another battery, so I have to open back cover and change battery every day, its not a big issue but since 10k will be available for like, free, and my brother already owns galaxy A7, so that 10k is for me to buy a new phone. So I will buy a phone, and since I will be going to US, buying a phone there is a better option, so I think I will be purchasing moto g 3rd gen (cheap), as I am not a heavy gamer, portability is also a factor for me, and also because of bands supported by US carriers which I dont know ( so buy cheap right now and buy big later in US).I will be going to US in around feb-march.

wise decision, the GSM and 4G LTE band should work in US too, I am 99% sure on this one.
