CPU/Mobo Mobo Selection Help URGENT!!!

Guys,
My computer illetrate freind is going to KL. I need to tell him to bring a motherboard from there. I am not into heavy gaming or CPU intensive work but need choices for both AM2 or C2D rig (this will be my secondary rig) and dont need it high end. Need it for occasional gaming and movies. I m pasting below the KL prices of AM2 and C2D mobos, can you suggest the most VFM option that MUST OC if its C2D. They dont have Abit IP35E listed, but the IP35P sounds tempting for the price.
The mobo should be under 5k. Awaiting your suggestions urgently.



 
if you are going for am2, go for 790FX or 780G. 790FX with sideport will be good enough as a decent gaming machine too . Take your call. Dont see any gigabyte boards in the am2 list though, and the Asus 790FX is on a high side.
 
ASUS 780G Chipset (Priced under 5K) based motherboard is solution for you as in case of intel c2d rig..you would have to add an extra gfx card.
