modded vs original xbox 360

so i am gonna get one pretty pretty soon ...the gta IV did this to me .... now whats the difference in reliability issues....i have a ps2 modded one and its pretty awesome so far ...how does xbox 360 stand on this?
 
Stay away from a modded xbox360.A modded xbox 360 is as unreliable as the unmodded/original one but the original one comes with a 1 yr. warranty so if it goes kaput you get a new one.If a modded one goes kaput, you are screwed!!
 
i think the ppl who sell modded ones give warranty with the thing... otherwise no ones gonna buy...

the only problem u might hve is u cant go online xbx live and stuff(wich btw is useless for our indian BROADBAND) ...

if u want it only for games then go for it as long as the guys offering warranty

btw wht prices are they quoting.. even im plannin to buy one
 
I had been to Alpha in Mumbai the other day and he said that Modded Xbox360 would cost 21k.He also said that they are selling only Premium modded and they don't have any plans to sell the core modded one's.
Moreover he said No warranty at all.Infact he said to wait for sometime since the present modded one's were not so good in terms of quality.
So it's like I don't think so we have any good modded Xbox360's in India yet.
There is alot of time left for GtaIV release so even I have changed my plans to some time in August or September.
PS3 in Alpha was 26500Rs.
 
u are kidding ps3 for 26.5??? i will be getting something next week or so.... wat news about modded ps3..are they good
 
No modded Ps3's yet.

Buy a modded Xbox360 if you want to shoot yourself in the feet. Again, don't do it, there's a chance even your original bought X360 would crap out, and you are going to be needing the official repair support for that.

No such options on modded.
 
Modded PS3 aren't even created yet.Yes I am absolutely sure the 20GB PS3 was just 26500Rs.Even I was surprised for a second but it's true.And the main drawback with PS3 is they aren't modded.Moreover even if they are modded sometime later,I dont think anybody will buy a pirated Bluray since only the blank Bluray disc costs Rs1000+.Imagine a pirated Bluray would be how much!!!!

Whereas in Alpha pirated Xbox360 dvds cost only Rs150:) .
