Modem Router Help with MTNL

I have decided to go for the 666/- plan of MTNL Broadband.
Now I am planning to buy a modem from outside, not mtnl, do you think its fine or should I use Mtnl one ?
Also is Beetel 110BXI ADSL2+ Wired Router compatible with mtnl broadband connection ? also if not what is the cheapest and nice modem to buy ?
