I've played both Batman and Uncharted 2.....Uncharted 2 is miles ahead of batman...not that im dissing Batman:AA(its a brilliant game,one of the best games this year)but Uncharted 2 is just ahread of the competition!!
 
I'll be trying the game on my 360 by tomorrow and just check the first few minutes of it's gameplay. I would play it completely on the PC though as that's where the game is meant to be played.

Played the first 2 missions of Modern Warfare 2. The action is just insane. The first mission was with Pvt.Joseph Allen set in Kazakhstan and the second one being in Afghanistan (Tian Shan range) with Captain. "Soap" MacTavish. I tried the Hardened difficulty and soon got my ass handed to me using a controller. So quietly switched to 'Regular' and things got bearable.

The gameplay remains the same. One minor change being, the HUD damage system, which now shows blood drops covering your screen as you keep taking hits. Looks pretty cool. The weapon range is pretty huge too. I started the mission off with a M4A1 Carbine attached with M203. The ammo for each weapon will easily suffice you for the rest of the mission. And, yes, you get to ride a snow mobile too, which is the first time you're actually driving a vehicle in a COD title. Believe me, it's awesome.

Soundtrack sets the mood for this game. Hans Zimmer, need I say more? If there are 2 people I respect for creating soundtracks in a game, they are Hans Zimmer and Jesper Kyd. This game is no exception.

Graphics are stunning as usual, but it's best if you people buy it on the PC. Although the 360 version is really smooth, the low resolution effect really shows. It's not bad, but the difference is always huge when you compare it to PC. So better wait this one out as I'm going to do right now.

This is just my person experience after the first 2 missions and it's really shaping up to be a action packed title. Is it a GOTY material? Too early to say.

Yes sir i did play the game i do agree it starts off well but i found it to slow down as it got to the end, i do agree its a good game but not brilliant as i said many games this year can get the title of game of the year. Deamon's soul, Batman (This game just because i never expected it to be so good) GTA Ballads of gay tony, COD MW2(which i think should be good) a let down this year was ODST again good but not brilliant. Again guys nothing against any game this is just my opinion......:)

that is just your opinion, infact i found batman to be really sad. i dunno how so many people liked it. i found it just basic hack n slash game. average to below average game with outdated unreal3 engine which doesnt look good or groundbreaking anymore.

Batman doesn't belong to the hack-n-slash genre exactly but the game was good, not as good as Uncharted2, not at least for me! Not even close!

i heard the campaign is 3 hrs 47 mins in normal difficulty and that too on console (where aiming is a bit of problem )..only a few selected ppl will waste their money to play a 4 hour game , as the Multiplayer part of the game is dead or will be sooner as the competitive gaming has been ripped off by our dearly Infinity ward. The sad part is Infinity ward is targeting casual gamers and totally forgot about professional players ,which indeed is a sad thing for the whole gaming community.

P.S. others can have totally different view, so refrain yourself from pulling my leg :p
 
Bumping an old thread again.

Finished MW2. Really short game but those you prefer quality over quantity, this is a perfect title. But the game is more chaotic compared to its predecessor, you wont understand a thing about the story. You will have to figure it out yourself after you complete a mission. It's only run, shoot tangos, evade. Even then it is an amazing shooter, you won't get the thrills that you felt while playing COD4, but, nonetheless, many scenes in the game will make you go 'awesome' or 'oh, fcuk'.
 
^its is really one of most polished games i have ever seen in FPS....... only problem with it is lack of support of lan play without internet...........:mad::mad::mad::mad:

otherwise the multiplayer part is also very good......hope COD7 has lan play atleast........
 
i am waiting for MW3, I really want to see what happens next. I am not bothered about Black Ops. Call of Duty World at War was a Ok game not amazing like MW or MW2.
 
The game suffers from bad narration(I hated the game's single-player for that), otherwise great game.

Loved the spec-ops mode.

I don't think there is going to be a LAN mode.
