Graphic Cards Modest AGP card?

Can someone suggest a modest gaming card in the range of 3-4k for my modest rig (AGP)? I guess I don't need any over the head graphix..
I'll settle for a used Card.

For around 3.5k u'll get a used 9800 Pro. worthy card, IMO.

You may get a used 6600GT or a new 6600LE......I recommend a used 6600GT....for about 4.5k...or a 6600 for 3k..

I have the ati radeon 9800 pro and love it and you can find them cheap now.

hmm..

Just read in this week's DIGIT , in the graphic card review...

There was this card PALIT X1600 Pro AGP 256MB based on Radeon x1600 chipset. It was only Rs.4,000/- and was in Mid-level GFX cards whereas 6600GT was in Entry level GFX cards...

Also, the framerates of this card were good.

So is this card better than the 6600 GT, even if it is not.. Isn't it value for money at 4k?
