My Viewsonic 1912w display stopped working today (and it is out of warranty). Does anyone know of any good monitor repair centers in Bangalore around Malleshwaram/Yeshwantpur/Mathikere area?

Just gave it to Ankit Infotech for repair. He says that the display board or something needs replacement and that it is going to cost 1.5k to get it repaired. Any idea if the rate is reasonable?
 
^Would it eliminate the issue completely? Or is Ankit giving some sort of warranty/assurance for their repair that it won't go kaput after a brief period of usage? I think other Bangalore peeps can shed some light on where to get the LCD repaired.
