Just seen that both Benq and samsung state that the warranty is from the manufacturing date or from the date of invoice,WHICHEVER COMES EARLIER.
From Benq
LCD Monitors
39 months from the date of manufacturing or 36 months from the date of
invoice (POP) whichever is earlier
From Samsung
24 months from date of purchase / 27 months from month of manufacture whichever is earlier ( for 15" CDT monitors).
36 months from date of purchase / 39 months from month of manufacture whichever is earlier (for 17" or greater CDT monitors and all LCD-TFT monitors).
12 months from date of purchase / 15 months from the month of manufacture whichever is earlier (for all plasma monitor models).
Does this mean that if i happen to buy a monitor after 6 months from manufacturing date i lose 3 months warranty? How can a customer confirm the manufacturing date if the product is not in stock or he is planning to buy online?
Does any one know anything about this? Please share.I had bad RMA Experiences early so highly sceptical
