Most "avoidable" games.....

no storyline..no sense..nothin except mindless shooting :p

Thats just why its pure fun. :p Not every game needs a story to make it interesting. Why do you think so many people people play death matches on the Internet? Games like Serious Sam, Will Rock and Pain Killer don't rely on story for being addictive. They rely on loads of mindless monsters running towards you and lots of weapons to deal with them.

and lets not forget, the entire FPS genre as we know it today exists because the foundation was laid by games in which you killed loads of mindless monsters/baddies. :)
@Nemesis - how could you not like san andreas? any game with a mod like hot coffee has got to be one of the 10 best ;) . But come on - when you figure out how to break into LAX when both other cities are locked and take a plane over the countryside and suddenly you se missiles from a military jet whizzing by - thats the stuff of greatness :) o well i guess its just a case of different strokes for different folks" :)

One of the games i enjoyed the least was Myst - i mean i could not for the life of me figure out what to do :)

As I already said, I love the concept of free roaming games and GTA is the most flexible game in that aspect, but poor graphics and even more poor controls make the game a pain to play with keyboard and mouse. It was a bit playable with a controller, but I just got fed up. I would love a GTA Game with same kind of flexibility that it offers and with the Graphics and Controls that a clone like Just Cause offers.

Just Cause is one of the most beautiful free roaming games in terms of graphics. It gives even the current (and probably soon to be released) top franchise games a run for their money as far as graphics are concerned. Its not too heavy on the resources too. It has the most realistic outdoor graphics that I have seen at 1680 x 1050 resolution. Now combine that with the almost Infinite flexibility that GTA offers. I don't care if the games going to span across 10 DVD's.

Now the best part, Imagine a hot coffee mod on such an awesome combination. :p

Deus Ex : Invisible War, Halo & AOE III

Biggest screw ups in the history of gaming, and to think all of them were expected to be one the best.

and any title from EA Sports is worth mentioning here.

DOOM 3 ... yeah even i didnt like it

Painkiller ... again nothing great to it

Serious Sam ... yeah to be avoided

GTA series ... I hate them (dont kill me for this)

PREY ... Same as doom 3

Dont know all these are considered to be great games ... but i just didnt like them.

ok enough of it ... but its a gr8 game to play when your back starts aching by working on comp for 8 hours !! nothing to worry , pure fun
another good one is mines ;)

my worst games list

1) Daikatana - Oh sweet jesus, someone kill romero for this monstrosity.

2) The sims - the original was fun, the 10,00002302 expansion packs killed the game.

3) Test drive games

4) Medal of honor : Pacific assault

5) Red faction

I actually enjoyed Painkiller. It has a great old school feel to it. Yeah, it's not got a great dramatic story or complicated gameplay, but it was pure unadulterated fun. :p

cricket 2007
NFS series after version 6...dont like the shiny roads and neon lights..it was much better before this night urban drive thingy started..

if you have played COD series you wont fell like playing this one...the movement and aiming isn't good

Is it like an FPS game? Like Quake4 or Doom3? I do not like multiplayer games or excessively complicated/strategy games. W.r.t teamplay, the Quake4 type teamplay in the initial levels is all I can stand.

Mindless shooting and a boss monster is the way to go for me :hap2: . I do like more realistic games like FEAR and Far Cry too.
