Don't have any recommendations that fit the bill but here are a few that I found to be good at horror genre:
Cold Fear
Dead Space 1
The Evil within 1 (Haven't played sequel and its more of a graphic horror game)
Darkwood (2D top-down atmospheric horror)
The Mortuary assistant

Alen Wake 2. It's not the horror but absolute suspense that gets you. I felt trapped in the story, in a chilling way. Combine that with excellent graphics and storyline, there's no other game like it.
