I have 6 motherboard choices for AMD 939 platform so which one?

1) Foxconn NF4XK8MC-RS
2) Asrock Dual SATA 2
3) MSI Neo 4-F
4) DFI RS482 Infinity
5) DFI NF4 SLI Infinity
6) MSI Neo 4 Platinum

Requirements:
1) Max 250HTT needed.
2) My coming G.Skill DDR500 Ram should be able to do 1T@250 with 3-4-4-8 timings on it without any Stability issues.
3) Super Stability.
4) Cool Running.
5) Simple BIOS.
6) Good Warranty Support.
7) Should be able to run a AMD Athlon X2 4200+ @250x10 without any Stability issues.

I want to change because I'am sick of my Asus A8N-E.

eh :S dude a8ne is really a good board. whats wrong with it? :S mine does 267 fsb easily, it can do more but its limited by the cpu.

its way better than most of the boards on your list.

^^...

Techboy, READ the POST.

Hes sick of his A8N-e which he ALREADY HAS...

Anyways..

Yea Udit, Whats wrong with ur A8N-e, Its a really good Motherboard.

Dont go for DFI, if you want an Easy BIOS :P.

MSI isn't that good an overclocker, right?
Foxconn, you are kidding.
Asrock, are you a nut?

All these motherboards other than Asus A8N e aren't that good overall, right?
why are u sick of it?
spend that extra money to get 2gb ram, you need it, or get a conroe later instead

A8N-E cannot do 1T@250 with 3-4-4-8 timings without any Stability issues.

udit if your going to upgrade on conroe in the next 7-10 months stay with the a8ne

next cpu+mobo+ram upgrade in year 2009

A8N-E is better than all those mobos :P .....

And yeah, see if you can exchange with x86..... that would be a decent board.

Ideally, it should be 2K + your A8N-E

Udit it can do it at 250 at 2T. Theres no need to get a new board right now, as the difference is only 3% or so between 1T and 2T in real world apps. It only makes more of a difference in synthetic tests. Trust me, stick with the A8N-E. No need to spend more right now, save it for your next upgrade.

ok agreed then will run it @2T if the difference is only 3% or so between 1T and 2T and wont replace my A8N-E.

I bet that you will be go crazy before that and be itching to upgrade . lets have a bet on that :bleh:

cpu+mobo+ram upgrades dont make me itch for 3 years once i get a good combo :bleh:

only gpu upgrades make me itch :S

so expect a upgrade to a DX10 card next year after July not a cpu+mobo+ram upgrade :P

and i said 2009 as AMD's next Intel killer range will launch in 2008.

By running 2T u lose a lot in benchmarks and about 3-10% in real world apps. Its better to run at 200 2.5-3-3-7 1T than at 250 3-4-4-8 2T.

The only boards that will satisfy you after A8N-E will be ASUS A8N32- SLi Deluxe, DFI Lanparty UT nF4 Ultra-D or ASUS A8R32-MVP Deluxe, otherwise be satified with whatever you have, this is a very good board.
