Well i am using this board,
1) its a 256mb onboard ( Whats the use :P )
2) Sound is good ( U have u buy a Sonic Full ver)
3) not happy with the mic. ( When i connect the mic its detects as a rear mic)
4) This mother is good if u just use for surfing , Gaming is also good if u have a gfx card.

You can go for any Asus mobo with ur eyes closed..i had a P4p800 delux for nearly 2.5 yrs and it never ever caused a single hiccup in tht period..it was the most reliable mobo i evr had..sad, i had to part with it because of migration from AGP to PCI-e..:(

LOL certainly not with eyes closed: :hap5:
http://www.techenclave.com/forums/asus-service-sox-yet-again-83306.html

Asus after sales service is the one of the worst ever.

^^ LOL darky has to support Asus, but MSI and gigabyte both have better service atleast here in Mumbai.

how is the 945 chipset for C2D e6300 ? .. is is a compatible chipset for the latter?.. cud anyone give me the updated prices of the e6300 and the 945 chipset plz ?

VM = On board Video ...maybe it stands for "Video Memory" or something ...all VM boards have onboard video.

^^nah the P5LD2 VM costs like 3.5-4k as far as i knw.

EDIT : Jst keep in mind that its a 945G chipset board.

How good are Intel Boards, I am facing lotsa trouble gettin MSI Neo-F in Pune...No-one has it..!! and no-one deals in boards except Asus and Intel...

I guess the Intel was 946 421is or something like this am not very sure..!!
