So, it is finally here. Priced quite okay, I guess.
As of now, only Ballistic Nylon version. No Kevlar.

Expected release date says 3rd week of March.

The 64gb version costs USD 650 unlocked in US , still you need to buy Verizon plan; considering it, Flipkart has priced it really well.
Comes with Lollipop out of box is commendable. This is what Nexus 6 should have been...

I don't know if its relevant or not. but I find my moto x mono speakers to be better than moto g2's stereo speakers.

Having pre-ordered it, want to know how much difference will 64bit architecture will make in day to day usage in Android? Especially for a non gamer, more for a multimedia functionality etc.

It's the future no doubt, but how long will the transition take place? Hopefully It might take time till my next Mobile upgrade say 7 months.
I couldn't find a appreciable difference in iOS though, iPhone 5 and 5s I mean.

Any opinions in this regard are welcome.

If you are going to upgrade from this phone in 7 months than you have absolutely nothing to worry about. The 64bit architecture is fairly new and the functionalities that it will offer will take time to be implemented.

Google is rolling out the base right now and in 2016 you will see how Apps and games utilize it. IMO.

Google launched the 64 bit architecture last year at I/O and have never talked about it till now so I guess you are fine.

Almost nothing but some people like to boast. for a single user device as opposed to a server that gets hit by many users the advantage is minor.

When i posted this online some guy retorted that there were already over 10 apps on iOs that were 64 bit. So thats great if you use them but useless otherwise.

It's all moto, imports at 1ok less, when considered with sony & samsung flagships which sell for double due to store markup.

Unimpressive Camera

Stock camera does not let you do much.

Try an app called A better camera

or camera fv5, paid for full resolution.

Reading around, i saw a tweet that said all moto devices are camera 2 api compliant. Just a question of apps exploiting it
