Seriously? I can't help but laugh at this list. We Vibrant users have been tired of crying over getting a GB update and we have moved on knowing we aren't getting one. Getting an ICS update is just impossible!

@viralbug: The same argument is applicable to many phones on that list.

Since the poster has conviniently omitted the source, i'd take this list and any other pertaining to ICS updates, with a pinch of salt.

The list does seem wrong. No Sony Ericssons besides the Play? Besides whats with the Samsung Galaxy S and Droid Incredible users getting it?

Don't be mistaken. That list merely lists the *potential candidates* for the ICS 4.0 update, and is based on mere speculation on the writer's part. Since google mentioned all devices capable of running android 2.3 meet the minimum per-requisites for ICS, the aforementioned devices are *theoretically* capable enough to sport ICS.

Of course there are many variables which the writer overlooked in his evaluation such as the various manufacture-specific themes and overlays, which almost certainly will prove to be major hindrances and dilatory factors in releasing ICS.

Most of the phones running on GB are ICS compatible, it depends on manufacturer if they are going to bring official ipdates or not

waiting for the era when ARM devices become as versatile as x86...but well.. then they wont be RISC anymore..

I change my wish...

waiting for the era when mobility OSes start supporting x86 OOB....

acer w500 seems to have become a favorite amongst those wanting to try win8 on touch devices..

would be awesome to dual boot with ICS!! dunno if google is willing to support x86 with this release...
