^Again, I beg to differ. No matter what the concept was, the movie was quite entertaining. At its heart Twilight was about love and not vampires. Also it is targeted at the teen audience, so it is expected to be a little childish.

twilight was terrible. for good vampire entertainment, look at the 30 days of nights stories, the movie 'let the right one in' or the pc game 'vampire bloodlines'.

Almost all vampire movies are about love and longing which is why it is such a hit with the females. The only exception I can maybe think of is Blade. I guess I've to check out 30don.

I found Sankat City very inspiring. I feel like doing the same now. Esp. scene 1: Steal a Tow Truck..

Just watched Socha Na Tha, Brilliant fcuking movie. Easily Imtiaz Ali's best film. I have always liked Abhay deol and watching him in this movie makes one realize how drastically he has improved his acting in the last few years. Ayesha Takia is as cute as ever, she is also a very underrated actress. The whole movie was very entertaining to watch and had some genuinely funny moments. Its situational comedy at its best. A very underrated movie, a must watch.

4/5

have you read the book? its much better. :)

yeah people may call it all girlish stuff. who cares, i simply loved the whole series. :D

Hmmm.. thats the third time i've been told, will have to get the reading hat back on :)
For others:- i liked it, the veggie part too, there's something in the movie that touches you, dunno how much you guys care but its a different movie, rather than indulgence it concentrates on restrain..There's a lot of depth to the movie if you care to indulge deeper than the chick flick paranoia...

Besides the girl was very sexy..

The veggie part was actually a nice touch:P

do yourself a favor and check out the graphic novels first. it's actually a very long series but it's split into many parts and the original story itself won't take time to read. the movie is decent too, and i watched it before i read the graphic novels but given the choice now, i'd do it the other way around.

also check out 'let the right one in'. best vampire movie in years.

That is a very good suggestion. My local library had it on Blu-ray. That was lucky because I was going to watcha bad print. It's a very nice looking movie as well. (I wasn't brave enough to watch the extra/deleted scenes:ashamed:)

exactly. i just hear everyone saying its a bad 'vampire' movie. firstly, i would say that it isn't a 'vampire' movie but a love story. the movie might make it look like a more vampire movie, but if you read the book its supposed to be different.

yes the veggie part was a nice touch and is one of the most important things in the story.

i like the girl too. :D she did a very good job of playing the character. she is just as confused and clumsy as portrayed in the book.

btw i read the books after watching the movie. ;) and im hardly a book worm, only read a few books.
