Moving to Noida, need your inputs

Hi Guys, I'll be moving to Noida next month end. Sector 62 I suppose. Need help regarding accomodation.

Which is the best place to reside and what are the average rates ?

Mode of travel ?

All the sectors have housing colonies. Sector 61 is filled with apartment complexes.

Average rate is 18k per month for a 3BHK. No idea about other room rates.

The only mode of travel available is shared autos. Do not use private autos, they would literally extort money out of you.

Since its for 9-12 months I guess you can haul along a desktop .. Company be would paying for relocation so it wont be a problem.

Getting a 1BHK in 62 would be kinda hard I suppose. If your office is in Sector 62 itself you can also try for a place in Indirapuram just across the highway.

You will get all sorts of arrangements in Indirapuram .. much better than Sec 62 if you're staying alone (ie Bachelor style

)

I do not think there are any 1BHKs in Noida. Most PGs are not so great.

Best to live with someone, i.e., 3BHK so 3 people. Rent is easier on the pocket, plus someone will be there in case something happens and everything else will be shared.

i was never fond of sharing a house and living according/adjusting to others so I lived alone in a 3BHK in Pune.

Besides that do not buy a laptop. Take your PC.

Thanks #dexBG and #mjumrani. Company will be providing accomodation for the first 10 days. Guess, have to search my roomie by then. Can't afford to live alone in a 3 BHK as I'm earning peanuts

#Switch As far as I know it's Sector 62. Will get it confirmed by next week.

Try Indirapuram .. a lot of people working in 62/Noida prefer to live in Indirapuram.

You can find better arrangments for yourself there .. Single or Sharing.

+1 to that. If your office is in Sector 62, Indirapuram is your best bet for affordability and location.
