I use Mozilla's Firefox browser for most web browsing. It's 21st century software and does a terrific job. I think the main reason I use it is due to it's tabbed browser windows.

There are many who use and advocate it because it's "not-Microsoft". I never understood that. Some use it because it's "secure, unlike Microsoft's browser which is a disaster". I never understood that either as a) Internet Explorer is not a diaster and b) Firefox was built by humans and humans never do everything perfect; especially when attacked by other humans. If this were true, then technology would have stopped warfare centuries ago.

Well, Firefox has a very significant security-related flaw. One that was not supposed to be there, according to the vocal proponents.

I'm not bothered about the flaw. It's being dealt with. I'm bothered about the advocacy.whats ur opinion?

dint get the meaning of the title "Mozilla or firefox" ???

i love firefox coz of its simplicity and usability + tabs but now tabs are everywhere...every browser have tabbed interface including IE7 so its not much of an unique feature anymore. another plus is that fx is more secure compared to ie (no activex) which made me switch to it. still ie is the default browser on my system coz many apps or sites don function without it. even the cyberoam client don't :S

but now, ie7 will have many new features including thumbnail view for all opened tabs, tab grouping etc etc. so some of us mite switch back to ie again. i for one cant tell for sure. i'll use the one that gives me what i want and in a simple organized way. :)
 
im using opera 8 now its really cool with everythign from email, irc chat, tabbed browsing integrated into one cool browser.

well you can but afaik, mozilla and firefox are one and the same thing..

its called mozilla firefox..theres something known as mozilla suite which also

comes with thunderbird (the email client)
