hey guys sorry for making another thread
i need a mp3 player or ipod and my budget is 6k(i can get nano 6th gen from canada at 6k)
and an iem for 2k
and i listen every kind of music:P

and pls give links to buy!!

^^ Sansa Clip+ from TE dealer Pristine Note + Brainwaz M1 / M2 from the same, else get the SoundMAGIC earphones.

If you can trade-off UI elements for better sound quality get the Nationite N2.

Here are assorted links, for support and related inquiries --

The Sansa Clip+ is a well balanced player, with good sound [to my ears] also the SoundMagic PL-30 and Brainwavz M1 are balanced IEM's with no real vices, they are neutral sound signature based designs and sound very good [when you progress from Creative EP 630]. As for the M2, it is the ace of bass in the sub-3K category, powerful punchy bass, with no equal in this price bracket. http://anythingbutipod.com/2009/08/sandisk-sansa-clip-plus-review/ / http://www.head-fi.org/t/499583/brainwavz-m1-review / http://www.head-fi.org/t/491435/review-brainwavz-m2-beyond-gamma / http://www.head-fi.org/t/323413/soundmagic-pl30-adjustable-bass-earphones.

The Nationite N 2 on the other hand is a much better player with audiophile class audio quality, only vice terrible UI and no gap-less play-back support. -- http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=60756

Hope this helps. Sire.

hey wat abt sansa fuze i want some colour:P

and i dont know anything abt iem's

just used pl50 but the bass is too less

i listen to classics and metal

^^ If you want bass-centric IEM's, go for the Brainwavz M2 in this category, it doesn't look like much, but it is the ultimate for a bass lover in your price range.

As for color, you can go for the Sansa Fuze OR the new Sansa Clip Zip [source this from Canada], both players are cheaper than the iPod and sound good + can be RockBox-ed.

Hope this helps, Sire. Cheers!!

i would go with the brainwavz combo with ipod nano..

nano 6th gen looks good plus has the touch screen advantage.

As for the sound quality,i dont think it makes much of a difference with 2k iems imo.

lol really

ipod nano + Brainwavz M2

IMO investing in better IEMs (to a certail extent) is more beneficial then spending it all on the player

Spot on! Ultimately Iems contribute the biggest chunk to SQ. Any decent player would do. To make out the finer nuances between various good players would require pretty highly resolving(and in most cases, quite expensive) iems.

What will you do with a touch screen on a tiny mp3 player? You will have to look at the screen every time you want to change the track. The best sound quality you can get (in your budget) will be with the Clip+. There is a reason everyone is suggesting that. Spend the rest of the budget on the best possible IEM you can afford. You can also consider re0 if you like finer details in the songs (but a little balanced in terms of bass). Klipcsh S4 is another option.

i m considering fuze now coz of screen and almost have the same SQ as clip+

and for iems as m2

^^ Dude Clip Zip + Brainwavz M2 will be the same, no point diverging [and spending extra money at that] from the factor that you'll use the PMP to play music primarily, not videos.

Get the Nano if you feel you want to spend on the brand factor as well. I personally detest Apple because of this, make a highly polished piece of Aluminium, stamp your logo on it... Voila instant brand appeal created. Not to say the lack of customization of this player is null... can you believe it, I played Doom on my Rock-BOXed Clip+, sure no mind blowing visuals but still it is testimony to the fact that the Clip line-up has a lot of un-identified potential under that matte plastic matchbox exterior.

Still in the end it is your choice, just hope this helped.
