Hi guys,

I wanna gift my wife a portable MP4 player Can you guys suggest me a good portable MP4 player. It should have External speakers, FM, good sound, good battery life, decent screen for video playback and expandable memory.
Size should be minimum 2 gb and my budget is around 3 to 4k
And if, in case there is no MP4 player with external speakers, please sugest me a MP3 player with above features.

you are better off with some thing like Sans Fuze + that has all the features you want - External speakers.

you can buy a battery powered external speakers.

you and your wife will be happier with it !

( and WTH , you want all that and your max budget is 4K !, really if sansa was not there, there was no alternative for you , all hail sansa )
 
I guess that no mp4 player is avlb with speakers so i would rather buy a MP3. So can you please suggest me any MP3 player with speakers?

What is the cost of Sans Fuze+ 2GB. Can we add a micro SD card to it and how much the external speakers for it costs?

fuze has got pretty good sound.

I have not heard the transcend to comment, but it has all the features you need.

if you want the bigger screen go for transcend, if you want smaller screen get the Fuze.

if you get the fuze and rockbox it then you might end up borrowing it from her permanently though :D
 
I had visited ezone nearby my home and they had sony and philips on display. I checked the quality of the products and found that sony's sound quality was awsome but the price was Rs.6500/- for 8 GB player. But when i checked the prices of these products in USA, they were very low as compared to Indian prices.

Pls hv a look at these and give yr reply:

Pls tell if the products will be genuine and why r they so cheap there as i can also buy from US as next week my cousin will be visiting india from US.

You mean to say that fuze is better than Fuze + in terms of sound quality....

R they better than sony and can you help me in tracking these products in US websites and do they have speakers as sony has both with speakers and without speakers pmp.
 
Get the Fuze + as already advised by other members.

Pristinenote is selling the Fuze+ with warranty here on TE if you are interested.

And NO.. I don't think strategy meant that the Fuze is better than the Fuze +. He must have been referring to the Fuze family of players in general! :P

Is it the same MP4 player which is being sold in ebay for less than Rs.4000/- for a 8GB video player in US:

New and used fuze on eBay.ca
 
The Fuze + is an upgrade of the Fuze.

But if you are talking about the Fuze being sold by Pristinenote, Yes, it is the same one being sold on the Ebay link u have provided.

But do note that Pristinenote provides warranty for the players sold by them and all are box packed and brand new but the ones sold on ebay might be refurbished ones as well.

Yes I agree that Pristinenote provides warranty for the product upto 1 yr. But the fact is that this is a dealer warranty and we will have to ship the product back to him to get the warranty and the same thing goes for Canadian products as we will have to ship it to canada to get the warranty.

But the fact is that it is avlb at nearly 50% discount to the prices in india and the products in Canada are more superior in quality than the products being sold in India.

Last thing to know, IS FUZE+ BETTER THAN SONY IN TERMS OF SOUND QUALITY

Secondly, What if I buy the Fuze+ from a duty free shop at the airport. Do they hv international warranty there?

And pls also tell : Is US cheaper than Canada?
 
I searched for Fuze+ 8 GB player in Delhi and I also contacted Sandisk helpline but they told me that they donot sell their MP3 players in India :(but they do provide warranty for the products bought from Outside India.:)

So that means we can only buy them from Grey market as they are not being sold in India or if i get it from Canada or US, they will give me the warranty......:huh:

Pristinenote, lynx-india, Globaleasybuy- eBAY are the only places i can think of regarding "where?"

check all, buy the cheapest. all Must provide an invoice, so you will get warranty.
