Hi Guys

Its been a past few days i have started using MS Excel and i am totally in love with it.

Dont know why i dint use it earlier.

These are some of my doubts.

1.> Is there a Conditional Formating Manager for a workbook or a workshet for a excel document

which can help me keep a track of all the conditional formatting i have applied for that particular .xls file.

2.> How to enable help tips when i use a formula or a function when i use a formula or function in a cell.

[Which lists the structure and parameters required for that function ].

3.> Are there any free office addins which i can use in excel.

Any sort of help will be appreciated. :)

Which version of Office are u using ?? if u using Excel 2007, there is a "manage rules" option where u can manage all your conditional formatting.
...and its really odd to know that QuadMaster starts using Excel now~!

Probably the best free add-in for MS Excel (all versions) is ASAP Utilities. It is free for personal use, and is regularly updated.

Using excel 2003.

Really feel sad that i didn't use excel earlier , but now i want to exploit its full potential. :)

Thinking of migrating to office 2007.

Excel 2007 is lot more easier to learn and you can find all the useful features.. in the older version it took a lot of time to find the things!! The Ribbon kindof aggregates similar functions!!

in 2007 its really difficult to use shortcuts, too many clicks
btw

excel 2007 has

1048576 rows and 16384 columns:hap2:
