I advise you phone him. He can courrier you the os perhaps.
I don't think that you will get a prompt reply or a reply at all if you mail him and I don't think he has a site.
Just phone him. Man, it won't be more than a few X Rs.10 and you can afford that.
 
BTW the MS Office in NP moved to Gurgaon. That is their India corporate office and you are not going to get any software from there.
If a person is learning how to use certain software he ought to use the trial versions of the same.
IF you are in Delhi and are looking to get original software then you ought to check with Triffin Technologies.
 
I bought the XP Pro OEM version ( comes with cd and manual with lic key ) a year back and have gone through two h/w upgrades without any hassles - costed me like 5.6k. I did not have a internet connection so had to use the phone. You just call up the toll free number, supply the generated number and they give you the key to unlock the s/w after the upgrade.
Infact most s/w vendors supply the OEM version and not the retail box. It is the OE version that comes bundled with branded h/w that is tied down to one h/w config.
 
XP Home costs between 3.5 - 3.8k and XP Pro will cost around 6k. I'm talking retail here.

What to speak with him without knowing his designation, work, dealership etc?

Please provide little background about him here.

Arre if u are in bombay, go to Computer Selection or any other reputed shop in Lammy and ask for windows. You'll get it at decent prices.
 
chaosas far as i know...comp selection doesnt sell s/w...yup may b only abt windows they does............

nyways there r 2-3 s/w outlets too there.........which comp selection themselves recommend..........btw its in same lane and opp lane of comp selection

But I have problem in my Ankle and Knee from last 15 dyas, I can not move fast with exertion. So if possible please give me mail id or phone no. of particluar trusted shop.

they r trusted...only thing is dont go for h/w stuffs which they force.......else they r good......call and enquire them.....for asking other ppl number say u always buy h/w frm them......and nirmal(shop owners son is very helpfull)

Most of the computer shops (atleast here in Mysore n bangalore) carry OEM editions of XP Home/Prof only. I havent seen a single Retail pack yet here.

SO, if u r very particular about Retail and want to avoid OEM pack, get it clarified/checked b4 u make the purchase.

Exactly the same question ask by my Hardware Supplier and suggest me don't waste money as 99% computer users in India use PIRATED:hap2:
