I say the Zune or the ZVM anytime.

But the best is the iPod, since it is the most famous.

Car Decks, Pionneers/JVCs etc, have iPod connectors, also along with other USB connectors, but an iPod control interface, nothing else.

iPod sound bases, whatever their called, etc etc etc..

iPod gets the most support. Thus it is the best thing to buy.

The screen on the Zune is simply amazing... blows the dust out of the iPod and ZVM...

Even the build quality, absolutely scratch proof.

As for fuctionality, ZVM leads by a long long margin but wait till MS keeps adding features to the Zune ;)

When it comes to DAP players, zune is the best piece of hardware out there.Zune has the best sound quality among the three. Also it has a 3 inch screen. It's wifi is kinda wasted but the firmware updates will fix that.Zune is an absolute joy to hold although it is a bit bulkier to hold.Besides zune will be hacked sooner rather than later to run linux .

Although ipod has the largest no. of accessories and is really easy to use,it isn't very good when it comes to video playback.Videos appear washed out.Besides both the ipod and CZV:m scratch easily.

but ZVM can play ur divx, xvid(a lot of the vids, or clips are in this format). It has FM, FM recording and has a full equalizer...which can be customized as per the need and not just presets.

yeah the gigabeat is a also a gr8 player... actually zune has inherited many of its features and built from gigabeat cos the OEM of zune is toshiba

The iPod has one thing - a Nano version, which is better than the Creative Muvo and MS doesn't have an equivalent.... which is why I bought the nano.. thought of iriver, but they were ugly as hell.

I found the bent shape weird... don't remember if they were the clix series. Plus, they were a bit pricey... a few dollars more than the iPod, and also more difficult to find.

iriver clix is really expensive in india.A single GB version costed around 13k the last time i checked!!

So how do you think it is? I have of late heard a lot of people complain that buzzing sound comes out of nano.

for me, the ability to flip from AC/DC to ZZ top in 5 seconds beats the c$#p out of any player......

audiophilia can wait till I get home, the sheer usabilty of the ipod rox when it comes to a portable DAP

I don't get any buzzing noise out of it, but I haven't played it for more than a few minutes yet.... just bought it two days ago.
