4770 x 2 {whenever it come out} will be a force to recon with. I guess, it should be listed around $ 180 - 190 mark

Check the 4770 crossfire review here

It blows out 4890 out of equation, consuming less power at the same time. Being 40nm chip, this holds v good overclocking potential and I'm sure it will knock on doors of GTX 285 at around 75 % of the price

awesome, now i can forget getting a used 4850 from the market.

media home, thanks for this great and speedy release!!!

4770 performs at AVG. 90% performance of 4850!!!

(n ive heard it overclocks better than 4850, so maybe - 4770 OC = 95% 4850 OC)

Once OC'ed it beats stock performance of 4850 by a good margin.
and you're right, its about 10% slower than the 4850 at stock. Being 40nm getting a 50% increase should be possible :)
This is actually a replacement for the 4830, and it manages to render that card completely obsolete.
50% less idle power as compared to 4850 and upto 65% less on load. :hap5:

Media home sir, am interested in one

Only problem is am unsure of its DX11 compliance.

Have read thru forums but still unsure of it.
