Graphic Cards MSI 4850 for 10,300. How good is the deal?

Hi EveryOne,

Yesterday I went to Nehru Place for a LCD.
Bought it from SMC, alongside I also inquired about 4850 card.
He said I can give you a MSI 4850 for 10.3 K and its a very special deal for you.
I want to know how good is MSI 4850 and is 10.3 really worth for it?
 
There are 2 versions of the MSI HD4850 .

The one which comes with a good cooler and

The one which comes with the stock cooler

The one which comes with a good cooler is worth the price..coz it idles under 35 oc and under 55oc on load , the one which comes with stock cooler isnt worth.

what he said,i doubt if you will get the better cooler card in india,its prolly the stock cooler one.

i think you can get that kind of card for a few hundred less from the dealers here.

Thanks for the Info guys. Its surely the onr with the stock cooler, but then too all the other brands Sapphire, GeCube, Asus (Except for Palit and XpertVision) are in this Range or may be a bit more than it. So is'nt it OK to go for any of these(I don't want to go for Palit) and if that is the case then why not MSI.
I mean is MSI far behind other brands I have mentioned.
 
i think its fine to go with it bro , MSI is a real nice brand so u can trust them if it carries around 3 year warranty (i dunno) then its sure worth it :)
 
one thing u should no about msi warranty.. if ur card gets spoilt after a year or so.. what they do is give u a credit note for the card on the current value of the same card like say a year down the line the card drops to 7-6k ... so if by then the card is outdated or out of stock then ur stuck... unelss ur disty has the card in stock.. my personal experience with msi 8800gt oc.. luckily tirupati ppl really helped me out and gave me 4850 in exchange fr the 8800

Thats was a real good deal u had there.
So u are using MSI 4850 for now. How do u find it?
 
im not using msi ill never buy msi products in my life after that experience..im not saying that msi products are bad just sometimes this shit happens and it pissed me off

i got the ge cube 4850...since tirupati are also distrys for the same...
