Probably not. You should have a minimum of a quality 500W PSU to run a 7970.
At peak load (with a capacitor aging of 10%) you would need around 454W of power at 100% load. I wouldn't risk a card like that on your PSU. :)

The minimum recommended would be 500W, I have known people running this on a VX450, but I definitely wouldn't risk it.

OT- The last game I played on this card was probably the most epic - TW2! Currently playing TW1 on my GTX 970.
