Issues
  • Does not gets detected(in windows) sometimes.
  • Shows Error 173. When not detected, boots in VGA mode. Display sets at 1080p ( i've LG ultrawide 29" ). Everything except those requiring OpenGL works.
  • Furmark works. But crashes in games.
  • Temps are reaching 82 at 100% load with 100% fan. Have changed the thermal paste but no change in thermals.
  • Card was purchased from fellow member of Erodov in around 2018-19
GPUZ/Furmark are from 26-08-2022.
Have a furmark video from yesterday. Can share on request.

Should you be interested to troubleshoot / repair it and use / use for parts , fans etc, please pm me your price.

If you are aware of a cheap way to repair this ( in Delhi ) so that it becomes usable again, I'll be happy to hear your suggestions.

Did you try it in a different system?
You should put it in a newly installed windows system and test it. I think it's a driver issue. If it's not then the issue lies in the GPU die itself which can't be fixed.

Not surely in gpu die if furmark works. Use OCCT software.
Install occt tool and then test for vram. It will check for errors in vram, if there are any u will see them in software while it runs. I guess vram is much easier to replace.
