Reason for selling: Negligible use of laptop currently as no time available for use.

I want to sell my newly acquired MSI Wind U210x bought from Shanghai, China.
The laptop was purchased on 28th November 2009 and has been sparsely used, not more than 40 Hrs in total.
Please excuse the grainy pics as i did not have a digicam but my w800i.
I would not prefer shipping the product and hence would prefer Mumbai or Pune buyers. So it has to be personally collected.
I am usually in Mumbai over the weekend and in Pune on weekdays.
I have the original box of the laptop with the drivers CD and some papers but inside the box they had a partitioned cardboard thing to keep things like powercord in place is not available.
I DO NOT have a bill but AFAIK there is 2 years warranty on MSI laptops. I suggest you please confirm.

The laptop does not have a OS by default but i have Windows XP Pro loaded. It also does not have Bluetooth (although bluetooth light and key is there).
I have not yet removed the top cover plastic too. Please understand that the price is not negotiable as i have got it only few days back and rarely used. It is just lying at my home here.

Earphone and Headphone jacks

The power plug is of china type but an Indian coverter will be provided along with it.

Edit: I am not coming to Mumbai this weekend, but defintely coming the Christmas weekend. Just letting you guys know.

i might be interested.. how much does this one or a similar configuration one from msi retail for in india ?
and does msi provide international warranty??

Definitely more than what he is selling it for, search around you will be able to get hos laptop thread and the prices are listed, Im not sure if MSI has Global/International warranty, if it has then this is one killer deal
I would have taken it hands down, but unfortunately extremely low on funds at the moment
 
afaik there is 2 years international warranty. but i suggest someone pls confirm.
i will try to call my bro and ask him to check in lappy box.
ps. responses may be delayed as i have net access only through phone now.
 
The other notebooks having Intel Atom (with similar config) cost around the same (NEW). So wats the advantage of this specific model over others (apart from the bigger screen size ) ??
 
Its a Wind and Winds are awesome. My earlier Wind is far better than any Acer crap and smaller than ASUS crap

doesnt the default msi u210 come with a dual core neo processor. is this the same or is it a single core? pls confirm the same
 
yes it is still available. i am really not sure about dual core. But i suggest you consider it is not dual core. Still i will check.

I just checked using cpu-z and it says core speed 798 mhz and ht link 798 mhz. Will upload the cpu-z screenshots tomorrow.

I think thats because it must be in power saving/balanced mode.

If you change it to high performance mode, there might be change of MHZ in cpuz.

And ofcourse its single core, you wont get DUAL CORE atom kinda at this PRICE !
 
^^ Also i am noob when it comes to processors but in the pic, the main core speed is 800 Mhz (approx) and HT Link is 800 Mhz (approx), so is this how Dual core is calculated. I will see about the balanced mode and all tonight and put an updated pic.

Edit: The Cache is 512 KB i suppose. Sorry for mistake in first post :ashamed:
