MTNL 1Mbps UL Plan - Slow Speeds

Hi Guys,
Iam from mumbai and on the UL_999 Plan with 1 Mbps Speed
And for the past 1 week or so im facing really slow speeds,downloads are fine but when i surf the net it lags like hell and sometime times out

Anyone facing probs ? I called 198 and they said,"We will check" but that was last week and still not updated

Any News ?

Even my speeds have been pathetic lately. I am getting 1.1 MB/sec in a 2 MB/sec connection (as per Speedtest).

Even i am getting quite delay in surfing no probs with download.

Last evening i lost opportunity to apply for a share because of the pathetic internet hang and delays

I have MTNL (Delhi) 499 2GB Plan. Its not working since July 2010 last week and in the month of September 2010 I am not able to connect to Internet yet. I am going to disconnect this bulls**t service. No one hear complaints.

Now I have purchased prepaid Reliance Broadband (so called) for Rs. 5000 with Dongle and 18 GB for 6 Months validity.

Speed is claimed 3.1 Mbps but is slower than MTNL. I am pleased with uninterrupted service and portability.

This is silly,I have called MTNL twice and still no response

Whenever the guy from MTNL calls back he says,he'll do something and nufing happens,damm lazy gov. employees
