MTNL BroadPlan Plan changes

had you got the modem replaced too? i had such an issue at least twice. once, replacing the modem helped. other time, it resolved by itself after making a couple of rounds at the local exchange's office.
I'm using my own modem - TP-Link TD 8817. I got my modem checked at the exchange too and there the signal strength was excellent. Modem is working fine. Just that the signal quality has gone from okay to worse due to their mishandling, and they are too uncompetitive to even bother fixing it up. I've made more than a couple of rounds at their office, the line man is pretty useless.
 
check with a local electrician. am sure you would find one who could check the line and rectify the fault, if found at your end of the line. i had got it done likewise from one at my place.
