MTNL Mumbai launches Promotional Unlimited 3G Plan For 999

Don't know about MTNL, but their cousin BSNL 3G data was pathetic. Not only that there was frequent call drops also. Ported to Vodafone.

In all the years I have owned a Mtnl 3g connection call drops are frequent and reception in call is pathetic . Still I hang onto it as my secondary connection as its cheap .

Looks like this so called unlimited plan is discontinued. Not listed on mtnl site anymore.

Offlate their quality has been down too. Low speed. Increase in no network zones around Mumbai.
Got fed up of that and switched to local cable broadband.
Happy with it.

Have read that during installation of reliance 4g towers many of the mtnl underground cabling was damaged. This maybe the reason.

no cable broadband option available?

my cable broadband does google and ms peering @ 100mbps , torrents cached @40mbps,and rest @512kbps for 600pm. truly unlimited.

999 plan from reliance is for cellular connection or wired broadband?

Reliance 3g prepaid site is showing unlimited plan for 1298 pm. I thought its promotional plan for one month only. But it looks like its std plan as its listed on website.
