With so many threads going around for the ISP queries I didn't find any stick one.So might as well start another MTNL thread.
Just decided to shove my Pacenet connection to rightly where it belongs & decided to opt for MTNL Triband.Went to their office & submitted the form.As usual was informed the wait time would be minimum of 2 months.
Anyways I would just like to know if anyone else out here has been waiting for more than the designated time & how long has the maximum wait time been for all of you?
Also one more query,how do I know if my connection has really been connected to true 2Mbps speeds? I was assuming to download a large file for the first time via HTTP link as that would allow me to know the exact potential.If it crossed the 200Kbps mark which must mean I am on the right track,right? Cause I know torrents are pretty fluctuating as far as actual speeds are concerned.What's the maximum speed which can be achieved on torrents if they have over 1000+ seeds per se?
