hi members anyone using the mtnl triband night unlimited offer (mumbai) if so hows the overall performance planning to get that

how much does it cost? I think the unlimited offers from hathway, vsnl etc would be better.

problem i dont have hathway in my area only the cablewallah(have that right now 64kbps unlimited 700/pm) who is quoting quite a high price for 256kbps the price for mtnl is 590/- only prob is that u cant download much during the day the limit is 500mb/month and night unlimited i.e frm 12pm-8am so anyone using this scheme do they have downtime during the night then no use of getting it

If I remember right, Eazy has Unltd. Hathway 256 Kbps connection for a nett of 1100. U could try that. Saw Eazy's SS of DL Meter - 30 KB consistent.

500 MB a month during day time would be suicidal. Forget it.

check out http://broadbandforum.in/ . ppl generally get around 25 - 30kb/sec.

but whats the use ... ull be able to d/l max 850 mb in those 8 hrs and around 450 mb on ur connection for 16 hrs ... if u d/l on ur connection for 24 hrs , ull get around 675mb per day for 700 Rs compared to 1.27 gb for 1300 Rs( 600 + 700 ). Your call

I agreee with puns.. but then when no other isp is available in your area...mtnl triband looks such a good offer..
like in my area i got only my cablewalla .. but ever since he started last year.. no one has taken up his services.. and i dont think anyone will cause he`s too costly.. and too rude .. .. anyways the others isps, hathway, pacenet refuse to come to my area.. even though they have their offices situated here.(i think pacenet`s office is in my area ) ..
so well i went with mtnl triband. i get only 27 KB... and some nites do touch 750 mb...
and i`m not disappointed !!!.. though ya customer service sucks .. but then that`s the case with other isp`s too.
