Mumbai, Rain of woes ?

Was raining overnight like mad and even in the day while I was in mumbai .

And all we folks in Chennai got was a measly drizzle last evening.

Whats the damage today? Essential services running or clogged?

Trains were effy for a while. BUt everything is back to normal. Not many issues of water logging on main roads and highway.

It really poured down hard this morning though and it was raining all night.

But I just made a round trip to pune with couple of detours in the city and there were no unexpected traffic or much water logging.

Pune weather showed thunder showers, expected heavy rains, turned out to be light rain

Fantastic atmosphere near lonavala and khandala. Western Express Highway was covered in clouds

Even this light rain is a great reprieve else the situation was worse till now in Pune. The rains whatever little are most welcome.

You mean Mumbai-Pune expressway especially near Lonavala-Khandala part right ?

Yup. It's always like that during rainy season, but today I was there in little bit of traffic, and suddenly cloud cover engulfed the entire road. Perfect visibility to 10 foot vision in 5 mins flat.

Mumbai has too much rain and Delhi/Chandigarh has too little. I have to endure 37~38 deg room temp even in evening/night.

Even 20 minutes of rain, causes a huge mess specially traversing Gurgaon -- Delhi. Last time it rained took my ~3 hours to reach back home.
